SAROJ KUMAR MISHRA Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro, is filled with immense pride and joy as it celebrates the remarkable artistic accomplishments of Mr. Saroj Kumar, whose dedication, creativity, and excellence in the field of fine arts have brought honour not only to the institution but also to the entire region. His recent recognition at the International Art Exhibition and Workshop, held on 28th and 29th, 2026, at Dhauli College of Art, Bhubaneswar, has added yet another glorious milestone to his illustrious journey as an artist and mentor. The prestigious international event witnessed the participation of more than 75 eminent artists from India and abroad, including Bangladesh, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Nepal, and Korea. The programme served as a magnificent platform where artists showcased their unique styles and interpretations of nature, culture, and life through their creative expressions. The exhibition also featured meaningful discussions on the richness and evolving dimensions of contemporary art. Mr. Saroj Kumar was specially invited to this distinguished artistic gathering in recognition of his exceptional painting style, artistic depth, and technical brilliance. His paintings, particularly those inspired by the timeless beauty and cultural essence of Banaras, drew widespread admiration. Executed with striking finesse in acrylic colours on canvas, his artworks reflected not only visual beauty but also deep cultural and emotional resonance. A major highlight of the programme was the conferment of the “Odisha Kala and Lifetime Achievement Award” upon Mr. Saroj Kumar. The honour was presented in the esteemed presence of Dr. Panchanan Samal, Principal of Dhauli College of Art; Ravishankar Das, Secretary; and Dr. Hrikesh Mishra, Working President of the institution. This prestigious recognition once again affirmed his enduring contribution to the world of art.
