THE BEGINNING IS MARKED BY THE END. Today, March 29, 2026 (Sunday), the Sri Ayyappa Public School celebrated "Pasiksha Ek Parv - Annual Festival." This special Sunday, reserved for the convenience of parents, was nothing short of a celebration. Preparations had been underway for the past month. For this occasion, the entire school was decorated with art and crafts created by the children, presenting a display for visitors. Paintings, arts and crafts made from waste materials, and various artistic objects created by students from elementary to middle and higher grades captivated everyone. Under this program, students from different classes enthralled the parents and the audience with their beautiful presentations through songs, dances, dramas and instrumental chants. Among the various students of the school, Shraddha (Class 11), Anshika (Class 11), Sundaram Jaswal (Class 11), Anvi (Class 3), Ishan (Class 5) presented beautiful songs, while Richa (Class 8)'s presentation of various dances delighted everyone. The main attraction of this program was the distribution of mark sheets and Holistic Progress Card, the main objective of which was not the end of the session and efforts of the students but the beginning of a new session and new enthusiasm. The main and major attraction of this entire program was the play card, which was a symbol of the relationship between teachers and students, which was prepared by the teachers themselves and was displaying their love, affection and love for the students. The school's goal is to make each student unique and nurture their hidden talents. This card, imbued with this spirit, was a center of attraction among the children, with various titles such as "curious," "star student," "most disciplined student," "dancer," "most cheerful," "good listener," and "good speaker" being bestowed upon them. Thus, this results day was both fun and exciting for every student. On this occasion, the Chairman of the School Committee, Mr. P. Rajagopal, stated that each student in the school is unique. We aim to nurture each child to their full potential. He congratulated each student for their tireless efforts throughout the year and extended his best wishes for the new semester. He was accompanied by the Committee's Vice-Chairmen, Mr. Saseendran Karat and Mr. Mohanan R. Nair, General Secretary, Mr. E. S. Suseelan, Treasurer, Mr. Balachandran, and Board of Directors members, Mr. Suresh Kumar K.A. and Dr. Suresh Babu. On this occasion, the school's Principal, Mrs. P Shailaja Jayakumar, extended her best wishes and congratulations to the students for the new session, stating that this is not the end of the term, but rather the sowing of seeds for the new 2026-2027 term. She added that this day of the students' results is no less than a festival for all of us. We ensure that every student welcomes the upcoming term with enthusiasm and excitement. For us, each student is unique and special. On this occasion, she praised the flash cards made by the teachers and said that this would fill the children with new enthusiasm. Giving information about the new session, she said that the first week days of the coming session would be bagless days for the children, in which practical knowledge of various subjects related to numerology, General knowledge, quiz, science practical, gardening, robotics, delicious cooking, art work, painting would be given to the children. Parents, students, teachers and all the staff played an important role in making this “Open Day” programme successful.
